Drifter stories, Spring BBQ

There is a definite sense of feeling in the right pot, the perfect mix of expats. Lighting up a Bbq in Mars, with random germans looking over the water towards all this agitation, most likely pondering what the heck was happening at this time of day (19ish) . One italian married to a finnish, a brit, a norwegian and a french in germany. Age group ranging from late twenties to late fifties.  What a mix. The brit talked and talked about his different experiences in Finland, where he lived 6 years and words came up in a broken english/finnish/italian. Sentences that only made sense to our little group, ethymological explanations half swallowed in laughters. Comparisons of how we beleived people where, reacted according to our varied experiences abroad, comments on the uglyness of germans. Worth than the brits with their little moustache, their fat arse and wide body ( No offense to any of you that might read that). The european (french, italian) mentality compared to the scandinavian/ especially finnish/ british. Continental versus islander/scandinavia. This is all material worth jolting down and possibly filming or at least recording for further potential studies. Cultures and sociological behaviours are insanely fun to analyse, though my theoretical knowledge of this is damn low but who cares about theory, facts are good enough for us common folks, I am not an academic, well we are not academics in the Sandvik family, but I guess there is no requirements for  this historical theory to relate to the world. Just common sense and comparisons would do the job. Simple words....
